Created in 1951 by Hans J. Wegner, the Papa Bear Chair (AP19) stands as a pinnacle of Danish modern design, initially manufactured by A.P. Stolen. It got its name from the distinct armchair "paws" that embrace like a "hug", designed to provide balance and comfort while updating the classic wing chair. This presented a remarkable chance to undertake restoration.
